WrestleMania 36 Is Now A Studio Event

Straight from the WWE:

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

So WrestleMania 36 is going to be absolutely one-of-a-kind, but the jury is out still on whether or not it will be any good.

If you have watched SmackDown last Friday and WWE RAW tonight you may have mixed feelings. Perhaps they just need more people surrounding the ring, I don’t know. But this hollow feel truly sucks IMO. So hopefully they come up with something creative and different to make WrestleMania special.

If it’s an entire night of “empty arena matches” like back in the day it is going to lose it’s luster really fast.

Either way I’m willing to give WrestleMania 36 the chance. I’ve watched them all since I was a kid so this year will be no different.

What do you think about this move by the WWE?
